Dr. Breanna Naegeli is the Dean of the vastly growing Honors College at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and has been serving with the university for more than 15 years. Additionally, Naegeli directs all traditional study abroad, short-term global education programs, honors-driven global missions and outreach programs, and international internship programs for the university. She serves as Editor-in-Chief for the Canyon Journal of Undergraduate Research, an adjunct faculty in the humanities filed, writes curriculum for undergraduate courses, serves as a content expert in the field of sport psychology and leadership for the College of Doctoral Studies, and mentors the university’s NCAA student-athletes through a variety of outreach efforts. Most notably, Naegeli pioneered the launch and exponential growth of the university’s ninth official college, growing the Honors College from 59 inaugural students in 2013 to nearly 3,000 in 2023, and graduating more than 2,500 graduates to date. Naegeli holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Bethany College, a Master of Arts Degree in Sport & Exercise Psychology from Argosy University, a Master of Science in Leadership, and a PhD in Performance Psychology from Grand Canyon University.
