Integrity is at the heart of James Goodnow’s life, and he has spent his entire career in the law, starting at the age of 18 as a file clerk at NLJ 250 firm Fennemore, where he now serves as CEO and managing partner. At age 36, he became the youngest known chief executive of a large law firm in the U.S. His meteoric ascent in the legal world was notably documented by The American Lawyer in a cover appearance for a story announcing, “Here Come The Millennials.” And Apple profiled James in a worldwide “Apple in Business” ad campaign for his innovative use of technology in the law. He holds his JD from Harvard Law School, and dual business management certificates from MIT. He’s currently attending the Cambridge University Judge Business School (U.K.), where he’s working toward a master’s degree in entrepreneurship. James is also the co-author of Motivating Millennials, which hit number one on Amazon in the business management new release category.
