Shannon M. Clancy, The Rob and Melani Walton Endowed CEO, leads St. Vincent de Paul – Phoenix, the largest St. Vincent de Paul in the world. Shannon is the first woman CEO in the organization’s 76-year history and has been a significant voice in the nonprofit’s fundraising, marketing, development, programming and management for many years.
As CEO of one of Arizona’s largest nonprofits, Shannon leads an institution that works daily to support people in need—serving over 2.5 million meals, preventing homelessness for thousands of families, and offering high quality medical and dental care to uninsured patients to name only a few areas of impact.
All of this is accomplished through intentionally cultivating and harnessing the collective skills and compassion of community volunteers. Shannon and her team manage St. Vincent de Paul with an annual budget of approximately $75 million dollars, raised primarily through private philanthropic support.
Raised in Arizona, Shannon Clancy is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she met her husband Dan and is a mother of four children. She is known for her dedication to the St. Vincent de Paul mission that calls for the community to come together on common ground to Feed, Clothe, House, Heal and care for one another.
