Mark and Carrie Schnepf own and operate Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, AZ. This duo has transformed the generational Schnepf family farm into one of the largest Agritainment attractions in the US with over 350,000 visitors annually. The farm has year round attractions that include festivals, events, concerts, weddings, shopping, peach and vegetable picking, a restaurant, bakery, rides, glamping, educational tours and so much more.
Rather than sell the family farm for development the couple has created a unique and authentic experience for people to enjoy and make lifelong memories. They operate their 260 acre farm with their four children and a wonderful staff that they refer to as their “farm family.”
Mark and Carrie have been married for 32 years. They are both 5th generation Arizonans and grew up in the East Valley.
Mark Graduated from ASU and began working full time in the family farming operation. With his love for public service he helped incorporate the Town of Queen Creek in 1989 and served as its first Mayor for 11 years. Mark has served as a volunteer on dozens of boards and committees through the years working to make Arizona a better place.
Carrie was a broadcast major at BYU and performed in musical theater to put herself through college. Her career included 10 years in television news. After marrying Mark she changed careers to start her life on the farm. Carrie has given her time to numerous charity organizations and continues to perform in local stage productions.
